MY GO-TO

Monochrome outfits are definitely the easiest to wear no matter what time of the year, and this has to be one of my favourite go-to looks at the moment. This Zara jacket, though a little pricey, has to be one of my best finds this year, unlike most of my other jackets, which are black, no surprise there, is  something a little different to the rest of my wardrobe. This biker style faux-suede jacket with silver hardware (also comes in camel) is a classic wardrobe staple that I think everyone needs, paired with black jeans, a simple high-neck vest and white trainers, which probably have to be my most worn shoes ever, can really make a simple, easy and basic look stand out. And yes, I'm also wearing hoop earrings... who knew they would make a comeback from the days where you would be called a 'chav' for wearing them, but when you can buy a multi-pack from Primark with a variety of different sizes for just a £1 it really doesn't matter if the trend doesn't last for long.

T-SHIRT DRESS

I love this t-shirt style dress from MissPap, especially the cut out high choker style collar, shock. This style of  dress is everywhere on the high street at the moment, however, like most of my recent outfit posts it's maybe a little bit cold to wear in the lovely minus temperatures we are experiencing at the moment. I do have to admit these are my favourite kind of outfits, simple and easy, something that you can just throw on in a rush yet you look like you've really thought about what you wanted to wear today, and for around £15 you can't really complain...

Pretty In Pink

Taking some advice from my lovely friends this week and going to try a little bit of writing with my posts (let's see how long this lasts). I finally got my hands on this gorgeous dusty pink, high neck, silky River Island playsuit after eyeing it up for months, lucky for me that I waited and waited patiently to buy it after I managed to get it half price in the sale for just £20... bargain. I definitely think this outfit is more of a spring/summery look but this colour is EVERYWHERE right now so I can definitely make this piece work for my Friday/Saturday night adventures.
